Halloween Party Planning: Ghoulish Cookbooks

Halloween-CookbooksIf you are planning a Halloween party or event, the fun ghoulish food makes a great menu. The food items need to be not only the right look, but taste good as well. Therefore, a Halloween cookbook is perfect for your needs.

Planning the Menu

The menu you choose will depend on the type of event, the time of day and whether you want to serve a full meal, just appetizers or just sweets. If you are planning a child’s school party or Halloween birthday party, chances are all you need are cupcakes or other sweets. On the other hand, if you have a full Halloween party in mind, you might want to consider a meal with main dishes, side dishes and desserts. Lucky for you, there are great cookbooks that include all of these options and more.

Fun Halloween Cookbooks

Each of these cookbooks is part of my Halloween party planning. The recipes are tasty and the directions to make them ghoulish or cute for the holiday are perfect. After all, for my parties I want the look to match.

You know I love to add ghoulish food to the Halloween party menu! I have made things like “severed fingers with blood sauce” (bread sticks and marinara) and ghoulish eye ball deviled eggs. I need to get one of these cookbooks and take it up a notch this Halloween!

  2. I love collecting holiday cookbooks! I have found that even if I don’t see something totally awesome the first time I peruse a cookbook, I often find just exactly what I need or want a year later.

Since I enjoy hosting holiday parties and making special holiday treats for my family, these Halloween cookbooks are perfect for me!
